Police dealt with 73 occurrences over the weekend, including the following incidents: Missing person reported on Friday September 29. The female was last seen walking on Highway 39 towards Weyburn. September 30, 2023 – Drug and Criminal Code charges laid following a traffic stop

Police responded to a call of excessive smoke coming from a backyard fire. When police arrived the home owner was already in the process of putting it out. No further action was needed. Police responded to a disturbance on the northeast side of the city. One subject was arrested for Breach of the Peace and lodged in cells until morning

Members along with the Bylaw Enforcement officer and Conservation Officers were able to capture and remove a coyote pup that was hiding near a yard in West central Estevan. The coyote was taken from Estevan and released.

September 25, 2023

Members and EMS were dispatched to a West central apartment on the report of a possible overdose. Upon arrival, the conscious male was tended to by EMS and transported to hospital. Sept. 25th – Update: Drug Investigation / JTST Deployment

The Estevan Police Service Drug/Intelligence Unit executed two search warrants in relation to a cocaine trafficking investigation on the weekend. Search warrants were executed at two residences in Estevan resulting in a seizure of over 30 grams of cocaine.
