April 6th Night Shift
Police were dispatched to a residence in the Royal Heights area as there was a report of an assault. Upon further investigation, it was determined that an assault had not taken place. Both parties were just arguing. Police mediated the situation and no further action was required.
EPS received 2 separate Report an Impaired Driver(RID) calls. Both times, members were able to locate the vehicles and determined that there were no signs of impairment. Driver’s were warned of their driving actions.
An Estevan male was arrested and charged under the Trespass Act. He will appear in court on June 12 to speak to the charge.
April 7th Night Shift
Police were dispatched to central Estevan for a report of a barking dog. The owner was spoken to about leaving his dog bark for an excessive amount of time.
Estevan Police Service received a Report an Impaired Driver(RID) call in the Hillcrest area. Members patrolled the area however they were not able to locate the vehicle.
Police were dispatched to a residential burglar alarm in the Centennial area of the city. Members attended and found the residence to be secure. Home owner was contacted and advised of such.
