Police attended to a residence in the south end of the city to keep the peace while and individual retrieved property from the residence. The matter was resolved without further incident.
Police attended to a two motor vehicle collision at the intersection of 6th Street and Souris Avenue. Both vehicles were towed from the scene, however no injuries resulted from the collision. The driver of the eastbound vehicle on 6th Street failed to yield to the northbound vehicle on Souris Avenue and was issued a summary offence ticket under the Traffic Safety Act.
Police arrested and subsequently released on conditions a 24 year old male in relation to an uttering threats allegation. A short time after his release he was arrested again at a north end business for causing a disturbance. He was lodged in cells and charged with causing a disturbance under the Criminal Code. He was subsequently released on conditions in front of a Justice of the Peace.
A 32 year old Estevan woman was arrested and charged with breaching the conditions of her Release Order following a traffic stop in central Estevan. She is schedule to make her first court appearance in Estevan Provincial Court on Monday May 17, 2021.
A traffic stop in East central Estevan resulted in a 43 year old Estevan man having his driver’s license suspended for 3 days and his vehicle impounded for 3 days following a failed roadside drug screening test.
