Police received a report of a theft of property from a Westview area business.  The individual that committed the theft is identified and the matter is still under investigation.  Charges are pending.

Police received a number of barking dog complaints from around the city during the day.  The police remind the public that it is a bylaw violation for your dog to be barking and disturbing others.  In both cases, the owners were warned of the bylaw.

Police received a request to do a wellness check on an individual who not answering calls or responding to messages.  Police made contact with the individual ans determined he was okay and didn’t need any further assistance.

Police arrested a 41 year old individual for breaching one of his release conditions. He was released with a court appearance in October.

Police received a complaint of Harassment.  The matter remains under investigation.

Police received a complaint of a domestic disturbance. While speaking with one of the parties involved, it was determined that they had an outstanding warrant. They were released with a court appearance in October.

RCMP requested assistance in locating a vehicle that was reported as an impaired driver, heading towards Estevan.  Police located the vehicle entering the city limits, however no signs of impairment were noted. The driver had traveled a long distance and was tired.
