Police attended to a residence in the city’s north end to do a conditions check on the resident. Police found that the owner was not there and two other people were in the residence. Through some investigation it was found that one of the people was in possession of meth. A 23 year old Estevan female was arrested and resisted Police. Police took her into custody with minimal force and she was transported back to Estevan Police Service cells. She faces charges of possession for the purposes of trafficking, resist arrest and breach of court ordered conditions. She will be held and taken before a Justice of the Peace for a future court date.
Police arrested and charged a 18 year male from Weyburn with failing to comply with his undertaking. He was lodged in cells and will be brought before a judge in the am.
Members arrested a 17 year old Estevan female for failing to abide by her curfew. The female was released for court in October.
Police also had the opportunity to attended the A&W restaurant in support the “Burgers to Beat MS” fundraiser. The event was well attended.
