Estevan Police received a report of a suspicious vehicle in the Hillside School area during the lunch hour.   Members have located the driver of the and have spoken with him regarding his actions.  At this time there is no further action required.

At approximately 2: 00 AM on November 21st, 2021 members arrested a 21 year old male from Vancouver, British Columbia in the 13th  Avenue and King Street area. November 10, 2021

As a result of a traffic stop in the downtown core,  a 20 year old male from Estevan was suspended for 120 days and the vehicle he was operating was impounded for 7 days, after he tested positive for THC on a road side screening test. Charges are pending the outcome of blood tests.    

October 23, 2021

A motor vehicle accident between a taxi and a pickup truck occurred in central Estevan during the early morning hours resulting in both vehicles being towed due to the level of damages sustained. The Eastbound taxi entered an intersection and was struck by a Northbound vehicle. Matter remains under investigation. Minor injuries were sustained to two of the taxi passengers.

Traffic Enforcement Blitz Planned for Estevan

As part of our commitment to traffic safety, the Estevan Police Service and Estevan Combined Traffic Services of the RCMP will be hosting a Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (S.T.E.P.) Enforcement Campaign on August 11-12, 2021 in Estevan. A two-day initiative will consist of a large scale enforcement campaign that will take place in varied locations around Estevan. July 4, 2021

As a result of a 911 call for a disturbance, a 17 year old male was arrested for forcible confinement, resist arrest, assaulting a police officer and failing to comply with his release order. The male was held in custody and will appear in court this morning to answer to the charges.

Police arrested and charged a 37 year old male for uttering threats to do bodily harm, breaching his conditional sentence order and 2 counts of failing to comply with a release order.
