Police received a report of an assault.  Investigation into the matter resulted it the arrest and charges of assault under the criminal code.  He was released on conditions and will make a court appearance at a later date.

Two separate reports of motor vehicle collisions were reported this afternoon. One of the accidents led to an individual being transported to hospital with minor injuries.  Both these incidents remain under investigation.

Police are also looking into an incident related to the theft of power. The suspect vehicle was observed parking and plugging in at a local business without the consent on the owner.
