Police attended to a two vehicle collision in the 300 block of Kensington Avenue. One of the vehicles was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported and matter is under investigation.

Police were notified of another collision, however, police did not need to attend. The Estevan Police would like to remind the public to use caution and drive in accordance with road conditions.

As a result of  traffic stop in the 600 block of King Street, a 44 year old male from Estevan was issued a 72 hour driving suspension and his vehicle impounded for 3 days. The male provided a sample into an approved screening device with the result of a “Warn”.    A short time later members issued a 72 hour driving suspension to a 29 year old Estevan male after a traffic stop in the downtown area. The male’s vehicle was also impounded for 3 days.

Police responded to a complaint of an assault at a local hotel. A 39 year old male from Vernon, BC was arrested for assault and for outstanding warrants for failing to appear in court. The male was lodged in cells and will appear in Court today.
