Following an investigation conducted by the Estevan Police Service Drug and Intelligence Unit, a search warrant authorized under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act was executed on a residence in the Pleasantdale area of Estevan in the early morning hours of February 18, 2022.

Two individuals were arrested on scene without incident and a quantity of cocaine and xanax tablets were located and seized.

As a result, Lucas Neil Story, 33, of Estevan has been charged with the following offences:

• Trafficking in cocaine
• Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
• Possession of Xanax
• Possession of property obtained by crime

Mr. Story was released in front of a Justice of the Peace on a Release Order with conditions.  He will make his first appearance in Estevan Provincial Court on April 11, 2022.
