Estevan Police sending protective gear to Ukraine

The Estevan Police Service is working in conjunction with other Saskatchewan police agencies to send body armour and flashlights to Ukraine. The equipment sent is used and expired armour, along with used flashlights, that can be utilized to support the evacuation of civilians and the on-going humanitarian efforts in the country.

This initiative came about after a local woman, who has been a big part of fundraising for the people of Ukraine, approached the Estevan Police to see if there was any chance that there would be spare equipment available.  The Estevan Police Service members have reached out to Regina Police Service and will be delivering our equipment to them to add to the next shipment to Ukraine.
