February 22, 2019 – Night Shift

Police responded to a call of a stranded vehicle just west of Estevan. The occupants had vehicle trouble and were waiting for a tow truck.

Police arrested an Estevan woman last night. She is facing Criminal Code charges for Forgery and Uttering a Forged Document. She was later released for court.

Police were out looking for impaired drivers and traffic related offences. Members issued tickets for intersection related offences (red/amber lights), cell phones, unregistered vehicles and a suspended driver.

Police attended to a disturbance outside a north end lounge. It was reported that two males were involved in an altercation and one needed medical attention. Police arrested the two men and EMS attended to evaluate the injured party. One man was transported to Hospital by Police and cleared by medical staff a couple of hours later. The men are known to each other. They were both lodged in cells until sober. The matter remains under investigation and charges are pending.

Police were called to the Northeast side of the city to a report of a disturbance at a residence. Upon arrival police searched a residence with the aid of a property rep and learned that three people had ran off. Police searched the area and located a male who was very intoxicated laying face down in the snow behind a shed. He was wakened and turned over to family members to take care of him.

Police had a report of a gas drive off from a local business. The vehicle was located and the driver returned to pay for his gas.
