Police attended to a local hotel to a report of a guest on the property mistreating staff. The decision was made by staff that the guest was no longer welcome on the property and they wanted the assistance of the Police to have the guest removed. Police attended and a 44 year old Weyburn female was arrested and lodged in cells. She will be released in the morning when she is sober. She will be charged under the Trespass Act for refusing to leave after being asked to do so by the property owner.
Police received a report of an assault from a local liquor establishment. Police attended and arrested a male for assault. The male was lodged in cells over the night. He will be released in the a.m. on conditions of non-contact.
Police also arrested a 40 year old Estevan female for breaching her Conditional Sentence Order. She had previously been sentenced to a term of imprisonment and allowed to serve that sentence in the community if she abides by a number of conditions. She failed to follow the conditions and was arrested. She was remanded into custody and will appear in Provincial Court for the breach on Monday, February 28, 2022.
Police were called to a disturbance at a residence. Police attended and mediated a resolution that enabled the parties to remain in the residence and get along.
Police performed a number of check stops looking for impaired drivers last night. Approximately 250 vehicles were checked and no impaired drivers were located.
