January 18, 2019 – Night Shift

At approximately 11:00 pm, Estevan Police and Estevan Fire were called to the scene of a single vehicle collision. The 18 year old male driver of the vehicle struck a light standard on 13th Avenue. The impact caused the light standard to fall onto a power line. Sask Power was required to attend the scene and remove the pole from the power line. The driver was assessed by EMS on scene and had not sustained injuries. He was subsequently charged with driving without reasonable consideration for others.

Several vehicles were stopped to check drivers for sobriety. One vehicle passenger was charged for having open alcohol under the Alcohol Gaming Regulations Act (AGRA).
