Police responded to a call of 2 males acting in a suspicious manner in the parking lot of a local lounge. As a result an 18 year old Estevan male received a 60 day driving suspension for testing positive on an oral fluid screening device for using cannabis. His vehicle was also impounded for 3 days as a result. Both the driver and an 18 year old passenger received summary offense tickets for possessing or consuming cannabis in a vehicle. They will appear in Traffic Court in September in answer to the charges.
Officers conducted a curfew check on a 27 year old male in the downtown area. The male was found to be not at his residence, and is facing charges of failing to comply with a recognizance. He will appear in court in August to answer to the charges.
Members responded to a complaint of youths on the roof of a business. The 4 young males were arrested and are facing charges of trespassing. Matter is still under investigation for possible charges of mischief.
