Police received a complaint of another scam.  The complainant received an email that appeared to be from a southeast business.  The author of the email was pretending to be an employee of the business in need of some assistance.  The author was asking the complainant to assist them in buying some i’tune cards for a gift.  The author advised that money would be forwarded to the complainant via etransfer as soon as the cards were bought.  The complainant realized it was a scam and didn’t provide any information or do anything that was requested.

Police received a report of a disturbance.  The complainant called wanting an individual removed from the residence.  Police attended but the individual left prior to police arriving.  Patrols of the area in an effort to locate the unwanted guest met with negative results.
