Police responded to 48 occurrences over the weekend.

On July 28, members were called to perform a well being check which led to an Estevan individual being transported to hospital for further assessment.

During the evening of July 28, a traffic stop was made in central Estevan which resulted in a 44 year old North Portal resident being arrested for impaired driving.  He is scheduled to make his first court appearance in Estevan Provincial Court on September 18th at 9:30 AM.

During the day on July 30, police were dispatched to an area in central Estevan where a male in distress was reported. The male, who had a minor injury to his hand was spoken to by members and then transported to hospital for further assessment.

During the evening on July 30 a scam was reported to Police. The scam is in relation to the complainant seeing his residence for rent on a website when it is not for rent or sale. The public is reminded to be aware of this and other scams that plaque our community on a daily basis and to also report any scams you discover on-line to the Anti Fraud Center at www.antifraudcentre.ca or by phone to 1-888-495-8501.

Also during the evening on July 30, members along with the EPS PACT team, were dispatched to a North Estevan residence on the report of a domestic dispute in progress. After further mediation, the issue was resolved without further issue.
