Members were kept busy throughout the day as a result of the large amount of rain that fell in the city. Some streets required barricades to prevent vehicular traffic due to street flooding. Other than a weather related problem with the traffic lights at the 4th Street and Kensington Ave intersection and a driving complaint as a result of high vehicle speeds through standing water on the street, there were no other reported reported issues.
A 23 year old Estevan man was arrested and charged for breaching his curfew conditions as well as a condition to abstain from the possession of drugs when he was found to be in possession of methamphetamines. He was also charged with Uttering counterfeit currency at a central Estevan gas station. He was remanded into custody and will appear in Estevan Provincial Court On Thursday July 11, 2019 at 9:30 AM.
