EPS received a report of a dog running at large and possibly biting at children. Members attended and spoke with both parties.  Statements to be obtained and the matter will be handed over to By-law Enforcement for additional follow-up.

A complaint of a hit and run collision was received and the offending vehicle was located a short time later.  The driver of the vehicle was given a 60 day Driver’s license suspension and a 3 day vehicle impound for a warning on the roadside screening device for alcohol. The driver was under the age of 21.

Several reports of downed power lines and fires resulting from the damage. Estevan Fire Rescue and Sask Power were contacted to  assist.

A report was received that a building had blown across the Highway 39 near Sawyer Safety. Members attended and directed traffic while the debris was cleared off of the road.

Members located debris and construction material on 5th Street and 12 Avenue. A roof of one of the businesses in the area had blown off in the storm. Public works from the city set up barricades and Sask Power attended to clean up downed power lines.

A complaint of a possible assault in the downtown area was received during night shift. Members attended and spoke with the victim. The other party had left the scene and the matter remains under investigation.

Report of a large plastic tank striking a window of a residence. Members attended and the tank had been moved by the wind and collided with the house during the storm.
