At approximately 1855 hours, the Estevan Police Service received a report of a cougar walking along the pathway in and around the 1600 block of 3rd street and down in the valley. EPS members and Conservation Officers conducted an extensive search for the animal, however were unable to locate it or confirm its species.  Residents are reminded to use caution around all wild animals and are asked contact EPS at 306-634-4767 or Saskatchewan Conservation Officers at 1-800-567-4224 to report any further sightings.

Police were dispatched to the east side of the city for a report of a drone flying over houses. Members attended and the operator was determined to be an employee of an insurance company who was assessing damage from the recent hailstorm to apartment buildings.

Police were dispatched to a disturbance at a playground in the Pleasantdale area. Members spoke with all parties involved and that matter remains under investigation.
