Members attended to an east central Estevan restaurant on the report of a Saskatoon man refusing to wear a mask in accordance with COVID regulations. The male became uncooperative refusing to identify himself which resulted in him being arrested for Obstructing a Police Officer. He was transported to EPS and later brought to hospital as a result of significant underlying medical issues. He was later released without charges and turned over to family members.
Members responded to a number of calls regarding impaired drivers. One driver provided a sample of breath onto an approved screening device and passed. Two other complaints remain under investigation.
Members were called to a disturbance in an apartment in the north end of the city. Police were able to locate the source of the disturbance and the matter was resolved.
Members responded to a 911 hangup call in the south end of the city. The complainant was located and the matter remains in under investigation.
Members were called to a report of a suspicious person in a backyard. They located the suspect and after speaking to him it was determined to have been a misunderstanding and he was sent on his way.
