The Estevan Police Service in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Association of Chiefs of Police will be participating in a province wide firearms amnesty program beginning March 25th, 2019 to April 19th, 2019. During this time the public is welcome to turn in any unwanted firearms.
The public can bring unloaded firearms and ammunition to the Estevan Police Service (301 – 11th Avenue). They can also call and arrange for a police officer to attend and pick them up if they are unsure about handling the item(s), their condition, or making them safe.
PLEASE DO NOT WALK INTO THE POLICE STATION WITH A FIREARM. For safety reasons, please attend the front desk and ask for an officer to accompany you to your vehicle to obtain the firearm(s).
For any questions, please contact the Estevan Police Service and ask to speak with the Sergeant on duty.
