Police received a RID (Report Impaired Driver) complaint.  The vehicle was located and the driver was determined not to be impaired.

EPS received a report of individuals smoking marijuana in a vehicle.  Police located the vehicle and issued a Summary Offence Ticket under the Cannabis Control Act.

Police received two near-simultaneous driving complaints related to the manner in which vehicles were being operated in Estevan.  The investigation determined that that complaints were related and both drivers were warned for their behavior.

Police received a second RID call during the shift.  The vehicle was not located by police, however a letter advising the registered owner of the complaint will be issued by mail.

Police conducted a traffic stop on the west side of Estevan during which a male fled from police immediately after officers made contact with him.  A short vehicle pursuit ensued, however was terminated due to safety concerns.  The same vehicle was subsequently involved in a second pursuit which was also terminated for similar reasons.  EPS then received a report of a vehicle matching the description which was left unattended in the ditch on Souris Avenue north.  Members attended and located the driver a short distance away from the vehicle.  A short foot pursuit ensued after which the male was arrested for numerous driving related offences and flight from police.  He was found to be suffering from several self-inflicted wounds and was transported to the hospital by ambulance to receive medical care.  The matter is still under investigation.
