A traffic stop was made in north Estevan resulting in a 35 year old Stoughton man being arrested for 2 outstanding warrants. He was charged under the Criminal Code for breaching his court ordered release conditions and for being in the possession of methamphetamines under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He made his first court appearance in Estevan Provincial Court later in the day where he was remanded into custody until his next court appearance scheduled for Monday March 8 at 9:30 AM.
Members were dispatched to a west Estevan location on the report of a male in distress. Members spoke to the male and were able to defuse the situation without further issue.
As a result of a traffic stop in north east Estevan, a 30 year old Estevan female has been charged under the Traffic Safety Act for being a suspended driver and her vehicle was impounded for 30 days.
As a result of a conditions check, a 37 year old Estevan male is facing charges of failing to comply with his release conditions. He will appear in Provincial Court at a later date to answer to the charges.
A 56 year old Estevan male was arrested on a warrant for failing to comply with release conditions. He was lodged in cells and will appear in front of Justice of the Peace today.
