May 2, 2019 – Day Shift

Police continued with an investigation regarding an incident that occurred over the night shift. As a result, a 32 year old Estevan male was arrested and charged with Flight from Police, Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Obstructing a police officer in the execution of their duties and mischief. The male was remanded for court on May 6th, 2019 to speak to the charges.

Police also arrested a 25 year old female from Regina on outstanding warrants. She was remanded for court on May 6th, 2019 to speak to the charges.

Police received a report of someone backing into a vehicle in a parking lot at a local business. Damage was reported and statements obtained. Matter remains under investigation.

Police attended to a 911 hang-up call. It was determined that there was no emergency and no further action was required.

Police attended to central Estevan as a resident had located what they believed to be drugs on the sidewalk.  Substance did test positive for drugs. The Estevan Police would like to remind the public to refrain from touching drug-like substances and to contact the police for assistance.

Report of an erratic driver entering the city limits. Vehicle was located and driver was warned of their driving actions.

Estevan Police received a RID (report impaired driver) call. Members patrolled the area however the vehicle was not located. A letter will be sent to the registered owner.
