Members stopped a vehicle that was observed travelling more than twice the posted speed limit in the central part of town. Several tickets were issued to the driver and the vehicle was impounded.

A vehicle stop resulted in an impaired driving investigation being conducted. The driver of the vehicle provided two samples of his breath, with results that were more than twice the legal limit. The driver was charged with impaired driving and given a court date in July. The vehicle was also seized for 60 days.
