UPDATE – Rielley George-Smith has been arrested after turning himself in to Estevan Police Service this morning. We thank members of the public for all their assistance.

 

On May 3, 2023 Estevan Police received a report of a man who had uttered threats to harm someone.  Police were unable to locate and speak to the man that night.

The male was identified as Rielley George-Smith(21) of Estevan and currently is wanted for one count of uttering threats to cause death contrary to Section  264.1(1)(a) of the Criminal Code. Police have spoken to George-Smith by phone, and asked him to turn himself in, but he has continued to evade arrest and police are now asking the public for their assistance in locating him.  If anyone knows the whereabouts or has any information please call the Estevan Police Service or Crime Stoppers.

Police believe he is still in the Estevan area hiding out with friends.  Police are still hoping he makes the choice to turn himself in but are asking for the public assistance.  Police do not have an updated photo at this time.
