EPS received a report regarding a pickup truck that was broken into while parked at a North East Estevan shop. A window was broken and the ignition tampered with.  Matter remains under investigation.

Members were dispatched to a residence in West-central Estevan in regard to a domestic disturbance. The matter was resolved upon Police arrival without further incident.

Report of smoke in the hallways at an apartment complex in the north end of the city. Members along with Estevan Fire Rescue attended. It was determined to be a cooking related fire that had been put out by the tenant. Estevan Fire Rescue confirmed the fire was out and ventilated the building.

RID call resulted in a vehicle being stopped in the north part of the city. The driver of the vehicle failed a roadside screening device for  alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to Estevan Police Service, where he provided samples of his breath. The driver was charged with impaired driving and exceeding .08.

A vehicle stop resulted in a male being give a 72 hour license suspension and his vehicle being impounded for 3 days, due to blowing a warning on the roadside screening device.

An intoxicated male was lodged in cells till sober, as he was intoxicated in a public place and did not have anyone sober to look after him.
