As a result of a complaint from the public and consultation with Public Health,  a 44 year old male has been charged under the Public Health Act, 1994, for refusing to wear a mask in a public place. The male was issued a fine of $2800 for the offence and will appear in court to answer to the charge,

During the evening, Police stopped a vehicle on 4th Street near Sister Roddy Road. Police Service Dog (PSD) Max alerted officers to a controlled substance in the vehicle and further search of the vehicle has led to a 27 year old male from Stoughton and a 19 year old female from Weyburn facing charged of possession of fentanyl. They will appear in court in February 2021 to answer to the charges.
