This morning police stopped a driver from British Columbia on the 900 block of 4th Street.  A roadside alcohol test was completed and he blew a warning.  The driver was suspended from driving for 3 days as a result.   The vehicle he was driving was also impounded for 3 days.

Police stopped a truck downtown this morning for a traffic offence.  The female driver had two warrants for her arrest.  She was taken into custody and released a short time later with a new court date.

Police took a report of a theft of oilfield equipment from a business on the east end of the City.  Police do not have a lot of details at the moment and are gathering evidence.  If anyone saw anything suspicious or has any information on this theft please call EPS or Crime stoppers.

At approximately 7:30 PM, members were dispatched to a North East Estevan apartment on the report of an assault that occurred between the occupants. A female was arrested upon arrival and transported to hospital for minor injuries. She was then transported to EPS where she was lodged in cells. Further investigation resulted in the Estevan female being charged with Assault with a Weapon, Uttering Threats as well as breaching the conditions of her Release Order to Keep the Peace and Be of Good Behavior. She will remain in custody pending her court appearance in Estevan Provincial Court the following morning at 9:30 am.
