Police received several calls for vehicles parked on the streets for extended periods of time. The Estevan Police Service would like to remind the public that according to the by-law, vehicles are to be moved every 24 hours and in certain areas in the downtown core, there is only two hour parking permitted.

As a result of a traffic stop on King Street, a 40 year old Regina individual was charged with impaired operation and driving with a blood alcohol level of over .08.  His driver’s license was suspended and the vehicle he was operating was impounded.  He will appear in provincial court at a later date to answer to the charges.
