Estevan Police Service would like to remind everyone to please lock their vehicles when they are left unattended. There have been several reports of unlocked vehicles being entered recently. It is also a good idea to remove any valuables from the vehicle, especially those in plain sight. Thieves walk through neighborhoods, trying vehicle door handles hoping to find an unlocked vehicle. The best way to prevent vehicle burglaries is to remove all of your valuables, lock your vehicle’s doors upon exiting and take the keys with you inside your residence.

Police have also seen an increase of bicycle thefts in the city.  Police are asking the public to secure your bikes inside your yard, outdoor storage shed or garage.
