Members responded to a residence in West central Estevan on the report of a male in distress. The male, who was very intoxicated, was spoken to upon police arrival and the situation defused. He was brought to hospital where he was assessed and released. Due to the level of his intoxicated state and his safety, he was  brought to EPS where he was lodged in cells and released the following morning when sober.
