***UPDATE***Police lay charges in retail theft


Estevan Police have charged, a 24 year old female and 22 year old female, both from Estevan with theft under $5000 dollars. Police were able to identify the two females that were the subject of a media request for assistance in July.  Police were able to reach out to them, in regards to the on-going investigation and on August 15, 2022 they turned themselves into the Estevan PS.  Both have cooperated with the investigation and have since been released for a court date in September.  A number of stolen items were also recovered and will be returned to the store.

Police want to thank the public for their assistance with this investigation.


July 25th Release;

Police received a call on July 25th, 2022 around 5:45 p.m. of a theft from a retail store at the Estevan Market Mall.  The two suspects stole several items from the store before running to a blue car in the parking lot.

Police have obtained surveillance images of two females involved and are asking anyone who can identify them to call EPS or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
